Baytree Food Company

A fine example of Somerset's thriving food and drink industry, Bay Tree was established in 1994 by low-volume producers Emma MacDonald and Lucie Lewis. They sold their first product, a cucumber relish, to Harvey Nichols and Fortnum & Mason, manufacturing in Emma’s mother’s kitchen. After a branding and marketing overhaul to improve their profile and attract more retailers, Emma and Lucie up-scaled within 6 months. They now sell nationwide and abroad.
