Somerset in Business Conference – Exhibitors Announced

Somerset 3D and The Chamber of Commerce, co-hosts of this year's Somerset in Business Conference 2012 - Innovate to Succeed are pleased to announce the exhibitors for the event.

Thirty stands will be available for delegates at the conference which is to be held at the Westland Leisure and Conference Centre, Westbourne Close, Yeovil BA20 2DD

The Somerset in Business Conference 2012 organsers Somerset 3D and the Somerset Chamber of Commerce announce the free workshops for the afternoon sessions available to delegates.

Innovate to Succeed will be the sixth conference delivered by Somerset 3D and the Somerset Chamber, and the organisers anticipate it will be a bumper year with delegate numbers expected to be in excess of 230.


This year’s Somerset in Business Conference will take place at the Taunton Rugby Club on Tuesday 24th May. Now in its fifth year, the 2011 Conference is entitled ‘Somerset – The Energy to Achieve’ and will focus exclusively on low carbon energy generation and environmental technology.


Somerset is hosting a low carbon business conference in the early summer, to demonstrate how renewable energy companies and green businesses can thrive in the county.

‘Somerset – The Energy to Achieve’ is being held on 24th May and is focusing on the low carbon energy sector, with emphasis on low carbon energy generation. It’s aimed at businesses in Somerset and those looking to move west to the county.

Nuclear-facing companies are being invited to a Low Carbon event in May to outline the opportunities at the Hinkley development in Somerset.

Business leaders will be learning about how Somerset is becoming Britain’s expert in nuclear and renewable energy at the event, as well as the opportunities that are forthcoming.

The conference is to be jointly hosted by Somerset 3D and the Somerset Chamber of Commerce, who are providing the resources to help businesses wishing to relocate take advantage of the new nuclear build near Bridgwater.
