17 – 18 May, The ExCel Centre, Stand Number 810

Rupert Cox, Chief Executive of Somerset 3D, Somerset’s inward investment organisation, is one of the key speakers at the Great British Business Show, taking place at The ExCel Centre, London on 17 and 18 May.

The Great British Business Show is an exhibition which provides UK business owners with expert advice on how to grow, improve and expand their business. Rupert’s seminar, entitled, “How to Relocate for Growth”, is taking place at The ExCel Centre, London on 18 May.

Somerset 3D offers a tailored business relocation service, helping to make businesses’ moves to the county smoother and more efficient. From his hands-on experience, Rupert will be discussing what business opportunities are available to companies looking to relocate.

Rupert will also be sharing information about the benefits, pitfalls and challenges that face businesses thinking about moving or expanding their business, using real-life experiences from companies and individuals who have already undertaken a major relocation project. With plenty of hints and tips, humour and practical advice, this is a session not to be missed!

In just thirty minutes Rupert will set out his thoughts on how a business can relocate, move existing staff or source local labour, impart his views and experience in finding new premises, offer ways to manage the expectations of dependents and most importantly, how to be more profitable!

In addition to his role at Somerset 3D, Rupert is the CEO of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce. Under his six year leadership the Somerset Chamber has been accredited to the British Chambers of Commerce and has quadrupled membership, while Somerset 3D has attracted nearly 50 new investors to the county in the last 3 years, creating over 700 new jobs at a time of recession and adding over £15million to the economy annually.
Visitors to Somerset 3D’s stand will be able to pick the brains of the team about what this great county has to offer for relocating or new businesses. Delegates will be able to explore some of the most famous products designed in the county, including the iconic Henry vacuum cleaner, Haynes manuals and a vast range of prestigious food brands, renowned for their Somerset provenance. Delegates will also be able to take a little bit of Somerset home with them, in the form of Somerset grown lavender favours labelled, “Somerset – the natural remedy for business success.”
