Inward investment organisation Somerset 3D highlighted the exceptional business opportunities within the county to a group of high profile international visitors this weekend. This was part of a visit organised by the Somerset Tourist Association for selected tourism journalists and tour operators, showing them the wonders of Somerset and the many benefits on offer when visiting or relocating here.

The news that the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has been successful in its request for start-up funds is a great boost for inward investment as well as businesses already within the area, according to Somerset 3D.

Hinkley Point C on the Somerset coast has received a further boost as West Somerset District Council granted approval on 28th July for preparatory works at the site. The third-generation nuclear power station is now set to become a catalyst for economic development throughout the county, according to inward investment organisation Somerset 3D.
