Interactive workshops launched for Somerset in Business Conference

New for this year, delegates at the Somerset in Business Conference can take part in a series of informative and interactive workshops, covering a range of topics relating to businesses, particularly in the low carbon sector.

The five workshops, which will follow the morning’s presentations, will address a variety of topics: Working with Universities; Manufacturing Your Future – Innovation for Growth; Spatial Planning for Job Creation; Apprentices – They Can Help Grow Your Business; and Energy Efficiency for Businesses.

Inward investment body Somerset 3D is launching a new brand identity and website in order to reflect its evolving nature and thus attract increased investment into the county.

Established in 2008, Somerset 3D has been a big success and in the last year alone it has worked with over 130 companies, assisting 28 of them to relocate with almost 600 jobs created in the county – no mean feat during a recession!
