NOTES ON NITON
Niton is situated at the most southern point of the Isle of Wight and was once a thriving smugglers village.
At the end of the 18th century Marconi was living on the island, he used Knowles Farm in Niton as a location for radio experiments. There is an engraved stone at the farm in commemorating his work there.
